I am not a fan of slimline cards but I love gnomes. A new friend that I met through my YouTube channel inspired this card. When we first met in person, we went to a coffee shop near both of us. The coffee I ordered that day was so beautiful and looked a lot like the ones in the photo. We had such a great visit. We sat out on the patio. Looking forward to doing this again now that the weather is heading toward warmer temperatures.
Cutting Guide
Basic Black Cardstock:
7″ x 8-1/2″ scored @ 3-1/2″ (Slimline Portrait)
Basic White Cardstock:
3-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ (inside)
Cinnamon Cider:
3″ x 2-1/2″
Copper Foil:
2-1/2″ x 1/2″
Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper {DSP}:
3″ x 6″
- Die cut the curve from the Plaid Tidings DSP. Use the left over piece to decorate the inside of the card.
- Die cut the curve from the Cinnamon Cider cardstock (try to following the pattern from the DSP as if this was one continuous piece). Emboss this piece with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and adhere both this die cut pieces to the card front as shown in the above picture.
- Adhere the Copper Foil over where the two die cut pieces meet to cover up the cut line.
- Adhere the doily on the right side and cut off what hangs off the card edge.
- Adhere the ephemera with dimensionals on top of the doily.
- Add sentiment of your choice. I used a cut SVG file that Crafty Al provided for her channel members. I adhered with glue.
- Stamp sentiment and decorations from the Coffee Cafe stamp set on the Basic White inside panel. I stamped the sentiment with Cinnamon Cider, the hearts with Cajun Craze and the “Hi” with Memento Tuxedo Black.
